Job Description

Job Title: Full Stack Engineer Role Summary: Build and maintain high‑performance, scalable applications for a fintech scale‑up, leveraging Java/Spring Boot for backend services and JavaScript/TypeScript with React/React Native for front‑end delivery. Expactations: - Mid‑level professional with proven experience in full‑stack development. - Strong understanding of domain‑driven design (DDD) and test‑driven development (TDD). - Comfortable working in a hybrid team environment; collaboration across product, QA, and operations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud (AWS). - Build responsive user interfaces with React/React Native, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility. - Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests following TDD principles. - Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuous‑integration pipelines. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - Monitor and optimize application performance and maintainability. Required Skills: - Java / JVM, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud (AWS) – core backend expertise. - JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native – front‑end development. - Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), Test‑Driven Development (TDD). - Experience with cloud services (AWS) and containerisation (Docker). - Proficiency in Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD tools. - Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud technologies are a plus.
