**Job title**: Social Media Manager – Beauty & Personal Care
**Role Summary**:
Lead social media strategy and execution for beauty and personal care brands, managing a small team to create high-impact, platform‑native content primarily on TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels. Own the client relationship, deliver measurable results, and champion a data‑driven, culture‑aligned approach within a creative agency.
**Expectations**:
- Deliver compelling, trend‑savvy social content that drives engagement and brand awareness.
- Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with clients, presenting ideas and performance insights confidently.
- Lead and develop a junior team, fostering accountability, continuous learning, and creative excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Line management of Social Media Intern and coaching future managers.
2. Build and maintain internal partnerships with creative, strategy, and client teams.
3. Co‑create and execute social‑first strategies for beauty and personal care brands.
4. Identify cultural moments and creator collaborations, turning insights into content concepts.
5. Script, shoot, edit, or coordinate short‑form video production.
6. Manage day‑to‑day channel operations, content calendars, campaigns, and publishing.
7. Handle creator/influencer/UGC partnerships and integrate them into campaigns.
8. Own project timelines, prioritize deliverables, and ensure on‑time, high‑quality output.
9. Upload, schedule, and optimise posts using agency and native tools.
10. Track and report on KPIs (engagement, reach, growth), using data to refine strategy.
**Required Skills**:
- Proven experience running successful TikTok accounts for beauty/P&H brands.
- Strong understanding of social platform trends, cultural relevance, and audience insights.
- Content creation skills: scripting, self‑shooting, quick editing of short‑form video.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills.
- Project management: calendar ownership, multi‑campaign coordination, deadline adherence.
- Analytical thinking: interpreting metrics, deriving actionable insights, optimization.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
- Certifications in social media strategy, content marketing, or analytics (preferred but not mandatory).
