Job Description
Job title: Technico-Commercial (France & Export) Role Summary: Commercially lead product sales and market development for a French manufacturer of electronic measurement instruments across France and international markets. Drive revenue growth, expand distribution networks, and maintain high-quality customer service while ensuring product compliance and robust risk management. Expectations: - 5+ years of equivalent experience in a B2B technical sales or distribution‑network role with international exposure. - Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, analyse market trends, and forecast results. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with strong intercultural competence. - Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; additional language skills a plus. - Willingness to travel nationally and abroad for client and trade‑show engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement regional sales strategies to grow turnover and strengthen existing markets via distributor and manufacturer networks. - Monitor performance indicators (prospecting, new clients, margin/turnover, CRM usage) and produce regular reporting. - Execute promotional activities, craft solution proposals, and animate markets with clients and distributors. - Conduct competitive market analysis, capture customer needs, and propose product enhancements or portfolio expansions. - Represent the company at international trade shows. - Ensure product compliance, monitor client solvency, pre‑empt credit risks, and resolve disputes. - Maintain exceptional customer service standards. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams (product, supply chain, logistics) and uphold ISO procedures. Required Skills: - B2B technical sales and distribution‑network management. - Strategic planning, market analytics, and financial acumen. - Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office. - Strong written and verbal communication in English; additional language advantage. - Organised, proactive, team‑oriented, and adaptable to evolving market requirements. Required Education & Certifications: - Technical or commercial tertiary education (e.g., engineering, business, or related field). - Valid commercial training or relevant certifications preferred.
