Job Description
Job title: Robotic Systems Software Control Developer Role Summary: Senior software developer responsible for integrating hardware and software components to control robotic backplane test machines, implement motion control and sequencing algorithms, develop computer vision solutions, and rapidly prototype new features. Expactations: Deliver reliable, high‑performance control software that meets customer specifications; maintain tight hardware/software integration; create and refine motion and vision algorithms; prototype and test solutions quickly; support international customers as required; collaborate within multidisciplinary teams; uphold quality and documentation standards. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate and test hardware and software modules for robotic test platforms. - Design, implement, and optimize motion control and sequencing logic. - Develop computer vision components for inspection and alignment tasks. - Rapidly prototype new features and conduct iterative testing. - Lead independent development projects while coordinating with cross‑functional teams. - Maintain system documentation, troubleshooting guides, and deployment notes. - Travel internationally for customer support and system validation. Required Skills: - Proficiency in C/C++, .NET, and Python. - Strong knowledge of robotics, motion control, and embedded systems. - Experience with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV) and image processing. - Familiarity with rapid prototyping, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines. - Analytical problem‑solving, creative thinking, and strong communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
