Job Description

**Job Title:** Guidewire Developer – Policy Center (Remote) **Role Summary:** Develop, configure, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions for Tier 1 insurers. Lead end‑to‑end lifecycle activities, including new deployments, SaaS migrations, and custom integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital strategy. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality PolicyCenter implementations within scoped timelines. - Act as a subject‑matter expert in Guidewire, GOSU, and cloud‑native services. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (domain experts, integration architects, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to best‑practice frameworks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and extend Guidewire PolicyCenter (PCEs, PCFs, GuJits, business rules, data models). - Lead two or more full lifecycle implementations (new or SaaS migration) for personal or commercial lines. - Design and develop integration points with external portals and third‑party systems using REST, message queues, and batch processes. - Apply Guidewire Cloud Data Access platform for secure data management. - Conduct unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing; resolve defects. - Produce clear documentation, configuration artifacts, and SOPs. - Stay current with Guidewire releases and best‑practice guides; recommend process improvements. **Required Skills:** - Guidewire PolicyCenter V10 (or newer) configuration and development. - GOSU programming, REST services, message queueing (e.g., Kafka), batch processing. - Cloud‑model deployment (SaaS) and migration from on‑prem to SaaS. - Integration design with external custom portals. - Strong P&C domain knowledge (personal/commercial lines). - Familiarity with Guidewire’s Cloud Data Access platform. - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. - Agile/Scrum methodology experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Guidewire ACE Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration (mandatory). - Additional Guidewire certifications (optional but preferred).
