Job Description
**Job Title** External Sales Manager **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth for two complementary hotels by identifying and securing B2B business opportunities across MICE, corporate, leisure, and business groups, building a strategic sales plan, and maintaining lasting client relationships. **Expectations** - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Lille metropolitan area and beyond. - Build and nurture partnerships with local economic actors and corporate clients. - Deliver measurable growth against set revenue targets and contribute to the hotels’ market positioning. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct proactive prospecting of businesses and organisations in the region. - Develop and manage corporate contracts and group agreements. - Design and implement a commercial strategy for hotel, seminar, catering and event offerings. - Promote hotel accommodations, conference services, dining, and events to target audiences. - Arrange client meetings, site visits, and commercial presentations. - Build, track and report on a portfolio of accounts and sales pipeline. - Attend professional events, conferences and networking forums to generate leads and strengthen relationships. - Coordinate with operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery. **Required Skills** - Proven commercial development experience, ideally within the hospitality or tourism sector. - Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship‑building abilities. - Knowledge of the B2B hospitality and events market (MICE, corporate, leisure). - Self‑motivated, organized, results‑oriented, and able to work autonomously. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in English (mandatory); additional languages welcome. - Familiarity with prospecting and emailing tools is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) in business, commerce, hospitality management or related field; Master’s (Bac +5) preferred. - Relevant industry qualification in sales or hospitality (e.g., hotel management, CBP‑S) is advantageous. ---
