**Job Title** Quality Assurance Intern **Role Summary** Full‑time, hybrid (≥3 onsite days/week) internship in the medical device industry. Provides hands‑on support to the QA team during Summer or Fall 2026, ensuring compliance with the company’s QMS and regulatory requirements while contributing to project documentation and process improvement. **Expectations** - Maintain strict adherence to the Quality Management System and applicable regulatory frameworks. - Deliver accurate, timely documentation and support requests. - Independently manage tasks with strong organizational and time‑management skills. - Apply foundational AI literacy responsibly, following data privacy and responsible AI guidelines. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Follow established QMS procedures and regulatory requirements. 2. Assist QA team members, responding to inquiries professionally and promptly. 3. Rapidly learn project specifics, terminology, objectives, and quality standards. 4. Collaborate with mentors and colleagues to define, prioritize, and execute tasks. 5. Produce clear, precise documentation within agreed deadlines. 6. Apply AI concepts to identify appropriate low‑risk uses and responsibly utilize approved AI tools. **Required Skills** - Strong work ethic, accountability, and independent task management. - Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability. - Effective communication and collaborative mindset (“how can I help?”). - Foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and data concepts; ability to explain these simply. - Ability to apply Cook Medical data privacy and responsible AI guidelines. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current student (Junior/Senior year) or upcoming graduate student, or graduate within the following spring semester. - Undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Management, or a related discipline. - Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
