Job Description

Job title: Reporting Data Analyst Role Summary: Lead data reporting and analytics for the P&C Commercial insurance domain, producing actionable insights and maintaining reporting accuracy across Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter). Expactations: 8+ years of experience in data reporting within the commercial insurance sector; deep SME knowledge of P&C Commercial lines; proven track record in utilizing Guidewire products; ability to deliver high‑quality reports to stakeholders under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain automated reporting solutions for commercial insurance operations. - Extract, transform, and validate data from Guidewire systems and external data sources. - Develop dashboards and ad‑hoc analyses to support underwriting, claims, and financial metrics. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data governance and reporting standards. - Communicate findings and recommendations to executive leaders and technical teams. Required Skills: - Advanced reporting and analytical expertise in the insurance industry. - In‑depth knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter. - Strong proficiency with data extraction, transformation, and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar). - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting initiatives. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or a related field. - Certifications in data analysis or insurance reporting (e.g., CBIP, Guidewire certification) are highly desirable.
