Job Description
**Job title:** Cybersecurity Lead – GRC **Role Summary:** Lead a small cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with DoD RMF and NIST guidance. Drive continuous improvement of enterprise security posture, manage authorization, accreditation, vulnerability remediation, and incident response. **Expectations:** - Provide strategic oversight of IAM, risk management, and policy implementation. - Maintain oversight of ATO packages and security certification/accreditation activities. - Act as subject‑matter expert to internal stakeholders and external clients. - Manage and develop technical staff. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct enterprise security posture assessments, vulnerability remediation, and RMF control analysis. - Build, maintain, and update ATO packages. - Implement IA security guidelines, Zero‑Trust framework, SIEM, IDS/IPS solutions, network, and endpoint protection. - Design, implement, and maintain incident response procedures and coordinate breach investigations. - Oversee security testing and evaluations, including certification and accreditation testing. - Provide guidance on security policy, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Deep understanding of DoD RMF, NIST instructions, and IA guidance. - Expertise in risk identification, mitigation, and resolution. - Proficiency with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and Zero‑Trust architectures. - Strong technical leadership, staff management, and stakeholder communication. - Ability to conduct security testing, develop test plans, and manage accreditation processes. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. - Active IAM Level II certification (CGRC, CASP+, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP). - Minimum 10 years of IS/A role experience, with at least 3 years of technical staff management. - Active Secret clearance or higher.
