**Job Title:** Lead Data Scientist (H/F)
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end data science initiatives, acting as the technical lead and project manager for data‑driven solutions. Own the full project lifecycle from business requirement gathering, proof‑of‑concept, model development, to model production and monitoring.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑impact data‑science solutions that align with business objectives.
- Champion best practices in model design, validation, and deployment within a cloud environment.
- Provide clear, executive‑level communication of results and recommendations.
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collect, clean, and analyze heterogeneous datasets to translate business needs into statistical or machine‑learning problems.
- Design, evaluate, and validate supervised/unsupervised machine learning and deep‑learning models, anticipating advantages and limitations.
- Industrialise and deploy models using Azure cloud services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Monitor model performance post‑deployment, implementing retraining or adjustment strategies as necessary.
- Present findings and model outcomes to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, tailoring the level of detail accordingly.
- Lead a small team of data scientists, coordinating task assignments and progress tracking.
- Drive continuous innovation in generative AI and large‑language‑model applications relevant to business context.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
- Strong programming skills: Python, R, SQL, and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
- Proficiency with Azure cloud services (Data Factory, ML Studio, Batch, Functions, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Knowledge of generative AI/LLM architectures and fine‑tuning techniques.
- Experience overseeing data‑science projects, including roadmap planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Excellent English communication at a professional level (both written and spoken).
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business‑friendly language.
- Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s degree or higher (BAC+5) in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in data science and AI within industry settings.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory.
