Job Title: Azure Administrator
Role Summary: Lead Azure platform operations, focusing on identity, security, and high‑availability infrastructure. Provide governance, cost optimization, and rapid incident response to enable application, BI, and DevOps teams.
Expectations: 7+ years of Azure administration or IAM operations; deep knowledge of Azure core services, security tools, networking, automation, and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Azure AD, Entra ID, RBAC, and privileged access governance.
- Provision, configure, and monitor Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, Storage, DNS, and App Services.
- Deploy and maintain Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud, and other Azure security controls.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates).
- Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other tools for operational troubleshooting and incident management.
- Enforce governance and compliance (ISO, SOC, audit models).
- Integrate security and operations into CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
- Optimize cost and performance through monitoring and governance.
Required Skills:
- Azure AD, Entra ID, RBAC, privileged access governance.
- Azure core services: VMs, VNets, Storage, DNS, App Services.
- Security tools: Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Azure CLI.
- Networking: VPN, private endpoints, load balancing, DNS.

Required Education & Certifications:
- Minimum 7 years Azure administration or IAM operations experience.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ‑104 or equivalent).
- Experience supporting consulting or managed services environments.
