**Job Title**: Software Engineer **Role Summary**: Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for diverse operating systems, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components and delivering high‑reliability performance. **Expectations**: * 3+ years in embedded software development. * Proficient in C/C++. * Experienced with Linux, Windows, and RTOS (VxWorks, RTEMS, FreeRTOS). * Skilled in debugging with GDB and GCC toolchain. * Comfortable using ClearCase/GIT and scripting (Python, MATLAB). * Capable of traveling up to 20% domestically and internationally. **Key Responsibilities**: * Implement robust software solutions on Linux, Windows, and real‑time OS platforms. * Interface with hardware engineers to define and validate software requirements. * Diagnose and resolve system‑level issues using GDB and related tools. * Execute unit tests, formal verification, and performance validation. * Conduct and lead code reviews to enforce quality standards. * Draft and maintain technical documentation for designs, test plans, and releases. * Lead moderate‑complex projects, manage tasks, and update stakeholders. * Mentor junior engineers. **Required Skills**: * C/C++ development. * Embedded systems programming. * Operating systems knowledge (Linux, Windows, RTOS). * Debugging with GDB, GCC toolchain proficiency. * Version control (ClearCase, GIT). * Scripting (Python, MATLAB). * Problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and effective communication. **Required Education & Certifications**: * Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
