**Job Title:** Salesforce Product Owner & Administrator
**Role Summary:**
Leads the strategy, roadmap, and day‑to‑day administration of the company’s Salesforce platform and related enterprise applications. Acts as the bridge between senior leadership, finance, operations, sales, and external development partners to ensure the system supports end‑to‑end business processes, drives user adoption, and enables data‑driven decisions.
**Expectations:**
- Own and prioritize the product backlog using Agile practices.
- Align platform enhancements with organizational objectives and governance standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Ensure high‑quality delivery from internal teams and external vendors.
- Maintain data integrity, security, and documentation throughout all changes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and maintain the Salesforce product roadmap and enhancement backlog.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination.
- Lead the enterprise applications Steering Committee for priority and governance decisions.
- Administer Salesforce daily tasks: user management, permissions, security, data quality, flows, validation rules, custom objects, and Lightning components.
- Produce and upkeep documentation, release notes, and configuration standards.
- Partner with business units to translate needs into requirements, user stories, and optimized workflows.
- Conduct process mapping, identify automation opportunities, and support end‑to‑end workflow design.
- Deliver training, troubleshooting, and user support to maximize adoption.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards ensuring accuracy and usability.
- Manage external developers/contractors: define scopes, monitor timelines, review deliverables, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Serve as primary contact for Salesforce support and third‑party vendors.
**Required Skills:**
- 5‑10 years of Salesforce experience (administration, product ownership, or business analysis).
- Expertise in Salesforce Lightning, Flow, custom objects, validation rules, and security model.
- Proven Agile product backlog management and iterative delivery.
- Experience coordinating external development resources.
- Strong data modeling, data quality, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and enterprise systems (ERP, finance) – preferred.
- Experience with Certinia (PSA) or similar enterprise applications – preferred.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field *or* equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (required).
- Preferred: Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, and additional Salesforce certifications.
