Job Title: Account Executive – Swag / Branded Merchandise
Role Summary:
- Drive expansion revenue within existing client portfolio for branded merchandise and swag services.
- Manage full‑cycle sales from prospecting whitespace to closing contracts, emphasizing consultative selling and customer advocacy.
Expectations:
- Meet or exceed quarterly expansion quota.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline, and performance reporting.
- Foster long‑term client loyalty through trusted advisor role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a defined portfolio of existing accounts, targeting new revenue streams.
- Identify growth opportunities by mapping stakeholders, budgets, and departmental needs.
- Build multi‑threaded relationships, develop internal champions, and secure decision‑maker alignment.
- Conduct discovery sessions to uncover objectives, pain points, timelines, and success metrics.
- Craft and present proposals, pricing, and recommendations aligned with customer goals.
- Generate demand for new swag use cases, package repeatable programs, and build business cases for reorders.
- Collaborate with Vendor Management to design feasible solutions and ensure handoff to post‑close execution.
- Coordinate with Customer Success, Account Management, and Supply Chain on strategy and growth plans.
- Represent the company at client meetings, webinars, and partner events to deepen relationships and identify opportunities.
- Provide customer feedback to influence messaging, product, and account play development.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience in branded merchandise, swag, promotional products, print/fulfillment, or creative services.
- Proven record of exceeding quota and expanding B2B accounts via consultative selling.
- Strong commercial acumen: question framing, opportunity identification, value communication, and budget negotiation.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills; comfortable engaging executives and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated, highly organized, and thrives in fast‑paced, high‑activity environments.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales productivity tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Team player with positive, collaborative attitude and clear cross‑functional communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- No specific certifications required, but familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger) is a plus.
