Job Description
**Job Title:** Intern – Real‑time Single and Multi‑Target Tracking **Role Summary:** A research internship focused on surveying recent single‑ and multi‑object tracking methods for complex environments, evaluating their suitability for real‑time deployment, and building a software demonstrator integrated into the Constellations video‑processing suite. **Expectations:** - Demonstrates curiosity and strong problem‑solving drive. - Works with rigor, autonomy, and initiative. - Maintains consistent attendance and delivers results on schedule. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct a comprehensive literature review and state‑of‑the‑art analysis of modern tracking algorithms. - Compare approaches based on robustness, precision, computational cost, and real‑time feasibility. - Develop a multi‑object tracking demo application. - Integrate the demo into the Constellations platform and test with representative video sequences. - Document findings and present results to the R&D team. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++. - Solid understanding of computer vision concepts, especially object detection and tracking. - Ability to evaluate algorithm performance metrics (accuracy, speed, resource usage). - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Good analytical and written communication skills in English. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a university or engineering school program leading to a Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. - Specialized coursework or project experience in computer vision, image processing, or machine learning is preferred.
