Job Description
**Job title** Production Planner **Role Summary** Develop, maintain, and execute detailed manufacturing schedules that align demand, capacity, and material availability while ensuring accurate ERP data and supporting new product introduction and retirements. Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to deliver on-time production and mitigate supply gaps. **Expectations** - Deliver production plans that meet customer priorities and business objectives. - Maintain high data integrity in ERP/MRP system. - Keep transparent and actionable communication with stakeholders. - Continuously improve planning processes and resolve production risks. **Key Responsibilities** - Support Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) to align demand, supply, and capacity. - Respond to MRP signals, adjusting production and material plans accordingly. - Build and update production schedules based on material availability, capacity constraints, and customer priorities. - Communicate clear production plans to Operations teams, monitor execution, and drive on‑time delivery performance. - Maintain accurate ERP data for scheduling, reporting, and analysis. - Manage product lifecycle planning in the ERP: new introductions, ongoing production, and end‑of‑life transitions. - Monitor inventory levels and supply chain commitments to align stock with demand strategy. **Required Skills** - 2+ years in production or demand planning within a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, DAX, or equivalent). - Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends, and transform insights into actionable plans. - Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. - Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process consistency. - Adaptable and proactive in addressing shifting priorities and operational challenges. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. - APICS CPIM, CMMS, or equivalent certification preferred but not mandatory.
