Job Description
Job title: Consultant Power BI / Databricks Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and Databricks data pipelines to support advanced analytics and decision‑making. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver robust reporting solutions and ensure smooth production deployments. Expactations: - Minimum 5 years of experience in BI/Data analytics. - Deep expertise in Power BI (reporting, dashboard design, DAX, data modeling). - Strong proficiency with Databricks, including data ingestion, Spark jobs, and orchestration. - Solid understanding of modern decision‑support architectures (data warehouses, lakes, BI layers). - Proven ability to manage complex environments and deliver projects on schedule. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Professional level English a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Scope and plan Power BI reporting projects, defining requirements and timelines. - Develop, configure, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards. - Design and implement Databricks data pipelines for bulk and streaming data. - Maintain and evolve Business Object reports and data models. - Lead testing phases: unit, integration, and UAT; ensure data quality and performance. - Deploy solutions to production, manage change control, and monitor post‑go‑live metrics. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (data engineering, data science, business units). - Provide post‑deployment support, including troubleshooting and iterative enhancements. Required Skills: - Power BI (reporting, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, Power BI Service). - Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks Lakehouse Platform). - SQL and data warehousing concepts. - ETL/ELT pipeline design and execution. - BI tool maintenance (Business Object). - Agile project management practices. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
