Job Description
**Job Title:** Contract Systems Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide day‑to‑day end‑user and infrastructure support across Lupin’s North American sites, including on‑prem and cloud servers, networking, telecommunications, and cyber‑security tools. Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and IT SOPs while maintaining hardware inventories and delivering timely issue resolution. **Expectations:** - Respond to, manage, and escalate support tickets via ticketing system, phone, or email. - Deliver white‑glove support to VIP users and maintain high service levels. - Uphold site‑specific IT SOPs and GMP regulatory requirements. - Maintain accurate inventory of endpoints, servers, and network devices. - Monitor and report on infrastructure health, performing corrective and preventive actions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support business endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, video‑conferencing equipment). - Manage and maintain servers (Windows Server, VMware) and virtual environments. - Administer network infrastructure: routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS; configure and maintain Juniper and Aruba hardware. - Implement and monitor security solutions (Zscaler, Zero Trust, privileged access management). - Oversee telecom systems, including IP phones, AV, and Microsoft Teams Rooms. - Perform hardware repair/replacement and ensure timely replacement of faulty equipment. - Coordinate with central IT teams for resolution of centrally managed platform issues. **Required Skills:** - 3–5 years hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba networking technologies. - Proficient in Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization. - Strong knowledge of networking concepts (routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS). - Experience with security tools (Zscaler, Zero Trust, PAM). - Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams Rooms, and video‑conferencing systems. - Ability to work in a GMP‑regulated environment and follow IT‑OT segregation practices. - Excellent troubleshooting, ticketing system, and remote support capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred certifications: JNCIE‑ENT, JNCIE, CCIE, CCNP, CEH, CISSP, MCSA (or similar).
