**Job Title:** Business Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Analyze product data and customer behavior to drive informed decisions for the Revenue Operations team. Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to design experiments, uncover insights, and recommend actions that improve user experience, engagement, renewals, and conversions. **Expectations:** - Convert complex analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations. - Challenge assumptions, identify growth opportunities, and influence product roadmap priorities. - Manage multiple experiments and analytical initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high data quality. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and plan A/B and causal experiments; define requirements, assumptions, and limitations. - Explore, analyze, and report on experiment data to uncover trends, friction points, and performance drivers. - Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports to enhance insight accessibility. - Translate business questions into measurable metrics and deliver testable recommendations. - Improve tracking plans, event quality, and attribution logic for accurate measurement. - Write efficient SQL queries and Python notebooks (pandas, matplotlib) to support analysis. - Utilize AI‑assisted tools for data exploration and query optimization. - Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and collaborate with other analysts to refine methodologies. **Required Skills** - Strong data analysis and statistical experiment skills. - Proficient in SQL (joins, aggregations, filters). - Familiarity with Python data libraries and Excel (pivot tables, visualizations). - Experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments. - Ability to manage concurrent projects and experiments independently. - Excellent communication skills for explaining complex analysis to non‑technical audiences. - Comfort presenting insights to Product Owners and leadership. - Knowledge of data mining, segmentation, and event tracking best practices. - Experience with project management tools. - Familiarity with AI‑assisted data tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT). **Required Education & Certifications** - Post‑secondary education in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. - No specific certifications required.
