Job Description
**Job Title:** Sales Manager – Paris South West **Role Summary:** Lead and expand retail sales across 80-100 supermarkets, hypermarkets, and drive‑through outlets in the Paris South West region. Ensure continuous product visibility, manage promotional strategies, and nurture strong retailer relationships. **Expectation:** - Drive sales growth and market share for the company’s biscuit and pastry lines. - Represent the brand effectively and create engaging experiences for both retailers and end‑customers. - Operate independently, delivering results within set targets and regional metrics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage retail portfolio of 80–100 accounts, ensuring product placement, stock levels, and compliance with negotiated terms. - Plan, negotiate, and execute in‑store promotional activities, including product launches and special events. - Conduct regular store visits (including drives) to assess display, gather feedback, and recommend shelf‑space optimization. - Participate in store re‑implementation projects, coordinating with brand and marketing teams. - Maintain up‑to‑date records of sales activity, pipeline prospects, and account status. - Serve as brand ambassador, promoting product quality, heritage, and corporate values to retailers and customers. - Build and sustain long‑term relationships, acting as primary point of contact for retailer queries and concerns. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in field sales within the FMCG retail sector. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously. - Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable plans. - Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. - Bilingual capability in French (required) and English (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field. - Commercial or sales certification (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) is an advantage but not mandatory.
