Job Description
**Job Title**: Security Advisor – Executive Protection **Role Summary**: Provide comprehensive executive protection support, travel security, risk assessment, and advance planning for senior executives within the Global Security Executive Protection Program. **Expactations**: Fully vaccinated for COVID‑19 before start; valid US driver’s license and passport; pass federal background check and TSA Armed Security Officer training; willing to work long hours including weekends; 40‑50% domestic and international travel; self‑directed, initiative‑driven, adept at prioritizing and meeting tight deadlines. **Key Responsibilities**: - Conduct security advances and protective services for residential, work, and travel assignments. - Deliver travel safety briefings to flight crews and evaluate airport, hotel, and venue security at new destinations. - Coordinate special events such as stockholder meetings, board meetings, and industry conferences. - Perform threat and vulnerability assessments on executive travel itineraries; develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. - Build and maintain relationships with company personnel, contractors, senior leaders, and law‑enforcement agencies. - Advise U.S. employees traveling abroad on safety measures. - Collaborate with executive drivers to coordinate travel logistics; perform transport security advances. - Oversee third‑party security providers for office spaces, residences, vehicles, and event venues. - Travel internationally to deliver executive protection or support global security needs. **Required Skills**: - 10+ years professional experience in law enforcement, military, or private sector executive/dignitary protection. - Proven expertise in risk analysis and advance planning. - Strong oral and written communication; comfortable engaging senior executives and government representatives. - Excellent planning, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to work autonomously and within a team; adaptable to changing priorities. - Willingness to work extended hours and travel extensively. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree (preferred Master’s). - Valid driver’s license and U.S. passport. - AED/First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). - TSA Armed Security Officer qualification or completion of required training. - Eligibility for federal background check. Preferred (not mandatory): International security experience, foreign language proficiency, EMT Basic certification.
