**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET Core applications for finance/insurance domains. Deliver web, API, and desktop solutions, integrate with policy/claims systems, and optimize performance in an Agile/DevOps environment.
**Expectations**
- Hybrid work model with occasional on‑site presence at partner facilities.
- 3+ years of professional software development, primarily in .NET technologies.
- Proven experience in the financial or insurance industry is preferred.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build robust web and enterprise apps using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, MVC, WPF, and WCF.
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs for cross‑platform integration.
- Integrate with policy management, claims, and regulatory reporting systems.
- Develop and manage SQL Server databases: complex queries, stored procedures, and ETL logic.
- Create front‑end components with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM/DevOps cycles using GitHub, JIRA, and Jenkins.
- Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines to increase efficiency.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
**Required Skills**
- Programming: C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, WPF.
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ, ADO.NET.
- Web: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
- API Integration: experience with external REST/HL7 interfaces.
- Tools: Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Cloud: Azure services (IaaS, PaaS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft: analytical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, clear communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
- Optional certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer, or similar.
