Job Description
Job title: Graduate Software Developer Role Summary: Entry‑level developer in a self‑organised delivery team, responsible for building, testing and delivering applications from design to release, with full training provided. Expactations: - No prior professional development experience required. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Recent graduate in a technical discipline, preferably Physics or Mathematics. - Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a client‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop solutions based on technical designs. - Write unit tests to meet quality standards. - Prepare and document software requirements and specifications. - Follow best practices, agreed standards and SDLC processes. - Participate in product demos for internal stakeholders and clients. - Conduct code reviews for peers. - Estimate development effort and contribute to overall delivery planning. - Investigate, diagnose and resolve support issues in collaboration with clients. - Collaborate with testers to understand testing requirements. - Communicate status of work items to the delivery team. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives. - Maintain clear written and verbal communication.
