Salesforce Technical Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce solutions, designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools. Govern best‑practice standards, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with Technical Architects to ensure high‑quality, secure, and scalable implementations.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality Salesforce solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain and evolve coding, architecture, and DevOps standards.
- Mentor and develop technical capability within the Salesforce team.
- Act as a bridge between technical activities and business objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Agile and DevOps practices.
- Build robust, scalable applications with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and declarative configuration.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.) and automated releases.
- Apply security best practices (data protection, access control, secure‑by‑design).
- Resolve complex integrations with legacy systems and middleware.
- Monitor, log, and troubleshoot production environments.
- Enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and best‑practice frameworks.
- Support Technical Architects in embedding best practices across teams.
- Contribute to and grow a community of practice within the Salesforce ecosystem.
**Required Skills**
- Strong Apex programming (triggers, asynchronous processing, integrations).
- Proficiency in Lightning Web Components and Flow design.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD tools, and Git-based version control.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security principles and data governance.
- Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to customize UIs, manage profiles, permissions, and sharing models.
- Preferred: industry cloud experience (Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, Social Housing).
- Preferred: knowledge of Experience Cloud, FSL, Agentforce, Data360, or middleware.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I – mandatory.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II – preferred.
- Salesforce Architect or related architect certification – optional but advantageous.
