**Job Title:** Commercial Engineer – Air Treatment (Odour Market) H/F
**Role Summary:**
Lead sales and business development for the odour control and stripping market, serving industrial and municipal sectors. Manage end‑to‑end sales cycles, from prospecting and technical solution design to negotiation, contract signing, and hand‑over to implementation teams, ensuring portfolio growth and customer satisfaction.
**Expactations:**
- Sustain and expand a diverse client portfolio (public, private, partners, design offices).
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets within the odour treatment segment.
- Deliver technically sound proposals and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Ensure seamless transition of signed contracts to delivery and installation teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prospect new opportunities and maintain regular on‑site presence in identified markets.
- Analyse customer needs, review technical specifications, and co‑develop solution proposals with internal engineering, process, and proposals teams.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial offers, including financial modelling and contractual terms.
- Transfer signed contracts to Production/Implementation Services; follow up to guarantee quality delivery.
- Conduct competitive intelligence, contribute to product standardisation, and keep the market knowledge updated.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM (Digisales) with rigorous data hygiene.
- Represent the company at trade shows, client presentations, and sector events.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong technical understanding of odour control, air depollution, waste treatment, or related fields.
- Proven commercial sales experience in industrial or environmental solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and travel 50 % of time in France and abroad.
- Fluent in English (oral & written); additional languages (Spanish, German, etc.) a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Digisales or equivalent.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or Commerce/Business.
- Post‑graduate specialised training in environmental technologies or industrial sales is desirable.
