Job Description
Job Title: Technical Works Manager – Technical Departments (M/F) Role Summary: Lead and manage the technical components of high‑value construction projects, ensuring design, procurement, execution, quality control, and financial performance of assigned technical lots. Expectations: - Deliver technical solutions that meet project specifications and regulatory standards. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain schedule, budget, and quality targets. - Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the design of technical work packages and define consultation strategies for technical subcontractors. - Conduct tender processes, evaluate offers, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts. - Identify and implement technical optimizations to improve performance and reduce costs. - Oversee the preparation and execution of technical studies and interface management with other departments. - Supervise and control technical work activities within the assigned zone, including quality inspections, tests, and technical hand‑over. - Plan and attend site meetings, site visits, and progress reviews. - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and scheduling requirements. - Manage project finances, monitor expenses, and drive cost‑control initiatives. - Maintain continuous client communication, providing updates and addressing concerns. - Monitor operational progress until project hand‑over. Required Skills: - Proven project management experience in technical work management. - Strong knowledge of building regulations, fire safety, and technical specifications for commercial and institutional projects. - Negotiation, contract administration, and supplier management capabilities. - Excellent organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills. - Autonomy, rigor, and proactive anticipation of project needs. - Effective communication in written and verbal French; English proficiency is a plus. - Willingness to travel geographically as required. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. - Minimum 3–5 years of progressive responsibility in technical works management, preferably on ERP (public buildings) or hospital projects. - Up‑to‑date knowledge of technical and fire safety regulations.
