**Job Title**
Senior Platform Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, build and evolve the core platform that underpins software delivery and operational reliability. Focus on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and internal tooling to increase developer productivity, observability, and resilience.
**Expectations**
- Own and advance core platform components.
- Deliver high‑impact improvements for infrastructure, deployments, and automation.
- Ensure secure, fault‑tolerant, and developer‑friendly platform capabilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and implement scalable, reliable platform solutions across the organization.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, internal tools, and automation workflows.
- Improve observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) across all environments.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed, cloud, networking, and Kubernetes issues and translate findings into measurable improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support new features and integration.
- Evaluate and introduce cloud‑native and DevOps technologies to accelerate delivery.
- Promote platform standards, patterns, and best practices for security and scalability.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps or infrastructure‑focused software roles.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), networking, identity, compute, and storage.
- Deep operational experience with production Kubernetes.
- Expertise in containerized services at scale.
- Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, etc.) and CI/CD pipeline ownership.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems, containers, networking, and cloud services.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability principles.
- Scripting or programming in C#, Python, or Go.
- Autonomous, self‑directed, and effective in fast‑moving environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Optional certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) preferred but not mandatory.
