Job title:
Industrial Offer Lead – Systems, Mission & Combat, Cybersecurity
Role Summary:
A senior industrial leader responsible for developing and delivering competitive technical offers that meet cost, performance, and schedule targets. Works closely with cross‑functional teams (sales, engineering, manufacturing, procurement) to shape offers, secure post‑contract production viability, and align with client and internal requirements. Plays a key role in the EOS team, influencing program acquisition and industrial execution for surface ships, submarines, and drones.
Expectations:
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in large‑scale defense or complex industrial programs.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and integrate technical, commercial, and risk factors into robust offers.
- Proven leadership in coordinating multidisciplinary contributors and maintaining stakeholder alignment.
- Strong communication skills in English (oral and written); French language proficiency is beneficial.
- Drive continuous improvement, proactive problem‑solving, and effective teamwork in a rigorous process environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and price attractive offers that meet cost, performance, and delivery commitments while mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with the offer director (DDO) and project director (DDP) during contract discussions and negotiations to ensure offer consistency and feasibility.
- Translate technical solutions into structured offers, ensuring compliance with client specifications and internal standards.
- Build and harmonize the technical dossier, integrating engineering estimates, production schedules, and risk registers.
- Develop the industrial plan, secure supplier commitments, evaluate risks, and produce detailed pricing and scheduling documents.
- Lead industrial configuration activities in partnership with industrial and production heads.
- Initiate supplier consultations via procurement, interface between prescripter and buyer, and secure competitive, binding offers.
- Maintain continuous alignment of technical, financial, and schedule metrics across the offer lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Analytical and quantitative assessment of technical and commercial data.
- Expertise in cost estimation, risk assessment, and opportunity management.
- Proficiency in offer development, technical documentation, and industrial planning.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Leadership of cross‑functional teams and project steering.
- Effective communication in English; French language preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a structured, process‑driven environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor‑plus‑5 (Bac+5) engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Certifications in cost engineering, project management, or defense procurement are advantageous but not mandatory.
