Job Description
Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst II Role Summary: Drive North American supply chain performance by analyzing data, managing supplier relationships, and leading process improvements to ensure material availability and operational efficiency. Expactations: - Deliver actionable insights from supply chain data to leadership. - Owner of the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) lifecycle. - Lead structured problem‑solving initiatives and cross‑functional collaboration. - Ensure timely resolution of supply disruptions, invoice exceptions, and supplier transitions. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor supplier compliance with quality, delivery, and service metrics. - Analyze supply chain metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; present findings to management. - Own the SCAR process; coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Coordinate supply transitions and supplier discontinuations, minimizing operational impact. - Create and manage purchase orders, track order status, and address delivery/legal issues proactively. - Lead and participate in problem‐solving methodologies (5 Why, 8D, RCI, Kaizen) and facilitate tiered cross‑functional meetings. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas) and Microsoft PowerPoint. - Strong analytical, critical thinking, and root‑cause identification skills. - Effective written and verbal communication with suppliers, peers, and leadership. - Ability to collaborate across functions and build productive professional relationships. - Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and continuous improvement methodologies. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred). - Minimum 5 years of relevant supply chain experience.
