Job Title: Web Designer Intern Role Summary Short‑term (6 months) design internship focused on enhancing the visual identity and digital presence of a sustainability‑oriented startup. Responsibilities include advancing the company’s website, creating marketing collateral, and developing brand assets that communicate complex environmental projects in an accessible, impactful manner. Expectations Deliver high‑quality design solutions that improve user experience, align marketing materials with the brand, and support the business team’s communication efforts. Work independently while collaborating closely with founders and cross‑functional stakeholders. Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and a commitment to environmental impact. Key Responsibilities - Design, update, and optimize the company website using Webflow, adding new pages and content. - Produce and refine PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations for sales, case studies, and impact reports. - Create visual assets for proposals, social media (LinkedIn), and other marketing content. - Develop and maintain a cohesive brand style guide, ensuring consistency across web, presentation, and print media. - Collaborate with the business team to translate complex project data into clear visual narratives. - Participate in brand evolution and visual identity refinement initiatives. Required Skills - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop), and Canva. - Strong layout, typography, and color‑management skills. - Experience with PowerPoint or Google Slides for professional presentations. - Bonus: Working knowledge of Webflow for site design and content integration. - Creative problem‑solving: ability to transform technical/environmental concepts into engaging visuals. - Autonomy, attention to detail, and willingness to self‑direct while seeking feedback. Required Education & Certifications - Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. - Portfolio demonstrating design work, preferably including web projects, presentation designs, or marketing collateral. - Prior internship or personal project experience in design is advantageous.
