Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineer (Remote) **Role Summary:** Build and maintain enterprise‑grade user‑facing services for an observability warehouse platform. Deliver high‑performance, secure single‑page applications (SPAs) that interface with backend APIs, identity, and billing systems. **Expectations:** - Deliver scalable, accurate, and secure features on an iterative, agile cycle. - Maintain rigorous test coverage and conduct security audits. - Collaborate closely with product, UX, and quality teams to meet functional and quality metrics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and ship production‑grade SPAs using React (or similar). - Build RESTful APIs in Java or Node.js, integrating with third‑party services (e.g., Stripe, Braintree). - Implement identity, authorization, and billing interfaces. - Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Perform security reviews and audits of the application layer. - Contribute to continuous process improvement within the engineering team. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of production‑grade SPA development (React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte). - Strong proficiency in TypeScript (or deep JavaScript + statically‑typed language experience). - Solid understanding of agile practices, CI/CD, and test‑driven development. - Experience with authentication/authorization in SPAs. - API development skills (Java or Node.js) and integration with payment systems. - Ability to write resilient, well‑documented code and perform security audits. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
