**Job title:** Amelia Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions on the Amelia platform. Build voice and chat conversational flows, integrate the bot with enterprise systems, and refine NLU models to ensure accurate intent recognition and entity extraction. Collaborate across technical and business teams to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready agents.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end voice and chat bot projects on time.
- Maintain high conversation quality with continuous improvement of NLU models.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs, ITSM tools, and contact‑center technologies.
- Provide documentation, code reviews, and knowledge transfer to support teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Analyze business and technical requirements to design conversational flows in Amelia.
2. Develop and test speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech components for natural voice interactions.
3. Implement and tune NLP models for intent detection and entity extraction.
4. Integrate Amelia with external systems (REST/SOAP‑based APIs, Webhooks, LDAP, SSO, AWS Connect, ServiceNow, Jira, Rally).
5. Script and automate backend interactions using Python, JavaScript, and ReactJS where required.
6. Deploy solutions to production environments, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.
7. Collaborate with UX designers, data scientists, and IT operations to refine agent behavior.
8. Document technical specifications, integration details, and operational guidelines.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency with Amelia (IPsoft) conversational AI platform.
- Strong understanding of speech‑to‑text, text‑to‑speech, and voice‑bot design.
- Expertise in NLP techniques (intent classification, entity extraction, dialog management).
- Backend integration experience via REST, SOAP, XML, and Webhooks.
- Experience integrating Amelia with AWS Connect, ServiceNow, Jira, Rally, contact‑center platforms, and authentication/SSO solutions (LDAP).
- Programming in Python (≥4 years), JavaScript, and ReactJS.
- Familiarity with JSON, scripting, and service‑desk/IT‑ops automation tools.
- Ability to design solution architecture and scale conversational agents.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Any Amelia or IPsoft-specific certification is a plus.
