Job Description
**Job Title:** Accounting Intern (H/F) **Role Summary:** A 2‑month unpaid internship providing practical accounting experience within a film and audiovisual production studio. The intern will support daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and assist with financial reporting and administrative tasks. **Expectations:** - 2‑month internship, full‑time Monday‑Friday. - Remote work; occasional in‑person meetings at headquarters. - Must be enrolled in an accounting, finance, or business program. - Basic accounting knowledge or prior experience required. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. - Detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to confidentiality. - Interest in the audiovisual or cinema sector is a plus. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with general ledger maintenance and daily posting. - Process and reconcile customer and supplier invoices. - Perform bank reconciliations. - Prepare and format accounting documents and reports. - Organise and file physical and electronic accounting records. - Support administrative tasks related to financial activities. - Aid in the preparation of financial statements (monthly/quarterly balance sheets). **Required Skills:** - Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles. - Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis). - Strong organisational and time‑management abilities. - Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Basic understanding of the audiovisual film industry (advantageous). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or equivalent program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. - No specific certifications required, but a solid academic record is preferred.
