Job Description
Job title: Associate Application Support Analyst Role Summary: Provide first and second‑line support for core business applications (Salesforce, SharePoint, EDI platform, RingCentral). Log, investigate, and resolve tickets; support change requests and minor enhancements; monitor application performance; maintain clear documentation of troubleshooting steps and system changes. Expactations: - Act as the initial point of contact for user support queries. - Escalate complex issues to senior teams when necessary. - Ensure timely resolution of tickets with minimal business disruption. - Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives by documenting solutions and knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Log, investigate, and resolve support tickets via the IT Helpdesk. - Handle first‑line and second‑line support for key business systems. - Assist with configuration updates, testing, and implementation of change requests. - Monitor application health and coordinate routine updates or patches. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, resolutions, and system changes. - Collaborate with the IT Business Systems Team and IT Operations to ensure consistent service delivery. Required Skills: - Strong problem‑solving and logical approach to troubleshooting. - Clear, adaptable communication for diverse audiences. - Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities; capable of completing tasks independently. - Basic knowledge of CRM‑based solutions, Microsoft 365 applications, and standard IT support practices. - Familiarity with business system change management and documentation. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree or BTEC equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or comparable on‑the‑job experience in IT. - No specific certifications required, but basic knowledge of scripting (SQL, PowerShell) and exposure to supporting the listed systems are advantageous.
