Job Description

**Job title:** Security Project Manager **Role Summary:** Lead the planning, execution, and successful handover of large‑scale electronic security solutions for an advanced campus environment. Manage a multidisciplinary team of installers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver IP CCTV, access control, intruder detection, and centralised video management systems that meet industry standards and client expectations. **Expectations:** - Deliver projects on schedule, within scope and approved budget. - Ensure installation and commissioning meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. - Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. - Provide technical leadership throughout the project life cycle. - Facilitate thorough testing and handover documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, organise, and oversee the full delivery lifecycle of large security system projects. - Manage installation performance, programme tracking, and quality assurance. - Coordinate tasks and resources across client representatives, subcontractors, and internal departments. - Lead technical aspects of installation, commissioning, and system integration. - Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and industry regulations. - Drive successful testing, commissioning, and formal handover to the client. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience managing large‑scale security system projects (multi‑million pound). - Strong stakeholder and client management abilities. - Proficient with IP CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems. - Knowledgeable in VMS platforms (e.g., Milestone, Galaxy). - Solid understanding of IP networking and low‑voltage/electronic security (ELV) systems. - Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex installations. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Relevant engineering, technical or project management degree preferred. - Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience. ---
