**Job Title**
DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Maintain, monitor, and evolve the company’s infrastructure and application stack. Manage daily operations, troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective measures. Lead upgrades, migrations, backups, and configuration management, while ensuring high availability, security, and performance across cloud, Kubernetes, and on‑prem environments.
**Expectations**
- Minimum bachelor‑level education (equivalent to a 2‑year university degree).
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps, network administration, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Linux, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical teams, and react swiftly to incidents.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and monitor Kubernetes clusters, including application deployment, scaling, and rolling updates.
- Manage the tool stack (CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and observability).
- Build and maintain Docker images, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Author and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration and automation.
- Perform root‑cause analysis, implement patches, and prevent recurrence of incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, manage patching, and enforce security policies.
- Coordinate upgrades, migrations, backups, and disaster‑recovery activities.
- Document procedures, maintain inventory, and keep infrastructure maps current.
- Collaborate with network, security, and marketing teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement optimization strategies.
**Required Skills**
- **Networking**: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall, Cisco, Fortinet, WatchGuard.
- **Security**: Vulnerability management, patch management, incident response.
- **Containerization & Orchestration**: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- **CI/CD & Automation**: GitHub Actions, Ansible (no Tower).
- **Monitoring & Observability**: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.
- **Virtualization**: VMware.
- **Programming**: Strong command of Go; familiarity with shell scripting.
- **Collaboration Tools**: Zimbra, Nextcloud, Confluence, GLPI.
- **Project Management**: Planning, execution, stakeholder communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum of a 2‑year university degree (Bac +2).
- Certifications in networking (CCNA/CCNP), virtualization (VMware), or DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes) are advantageous but not mandatory.
