**Job Title:** Founding Commercial Associate **Role Summary:** Early‑stage commercial role reporting directly to the founder. Drives outbound prospecting, partnership development, and early customer engagement to build qualified pipeline, market presence, and repeatable go‑to‑market processes for a cybersecurity/infrastructure intelligence startup. **Expectations:** - 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or market development. - Strong communication and credibility with high‑value buyers. - High ownership, self‑direction, and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments. - Genuine interest in technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or intelligence‑led products. - Hands‑on attitude with a focus on creating opportunities from scratch. **Key Responsibilities:** - Generate qualified pipeline through outbound and relationship‑based prospecting. - Identify, engage, and qualify high‑value buyers, partners, and strategic contacts. - Conduct early commercial conversations from outreach to follow‑up. - Support market presence via events, introductions, and ecosystem engagement. - Develop and manage partnerships with vendors, communities, and industry organisations. - Collaborate with the founder on messaging, outreach priorities, and commercial execution. - Capture and relay market feedback to refine positioning, product direction, and sales materials. - Design lightweight processes, materials, and practices to enable repeatable commercial motion. **Required Skills:** - Proven outbound pipeline generation. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Relationship‑building and negotiation abilities. - Commercial judgement and strategic thinking. - Ability to translate market signals into actionable plans. - Comfortable using CRM and sales enablement tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - No specific certifications required; relevant industry knowledge is a plus.
