Job Description

Job title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Design and build scalable services that process, structure, index, and make large volumes of product data accessible across platforms. Develop data processing systems powering search, discovery, and downstream applications, supporting global Agentic AI initiatives. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code; ensure performance, scalability, and reliability; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; contribute to architectural decisions; stay current with AI and cloud technologies; adhere to Agile and DevOps best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable microservices for data ingestion, enrichment, and retrieval. - Develop APIs and data pipelines using Python and Node.js; contribute Go and Scala components as needed. - Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for search and discovery features. - Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging GCP services for scalability and reliability. - Write unit/integration tests, documentation, and support CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js. - Experience with Go, Scala, and Elasticsearch. - Familiarity with GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc.). - Solid understanding of microservice architecture, RESTful APIs, and data processing pipelines. - Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies. - Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in a distributed team environment.
