Job Description
Job title: Conversational AI Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and deploy enterprise voice‑automation solutions using the Amelia platform integrated with contact centre tools (Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud). Develop end‑to‑end voicebot pipelines, including speech‑to‑text, intent/entity extraction, and text‑to‑speech generation, and connect them to ITSM, authentication, and directory services. Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable AI‑driven interactions for customer service and internal automation. Expatations: • One‑to‑two‑year contract (6 months) for a mid‑senior technical contributor. • Onsite engagement in specified U.S. metro areas only. • Salary range USD 50–65/hour based on experience and alignment. Key Responsibilities: - Design conversational architecture for voice‑based service interactions across enterprise systems. - Implement speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech pipelines for voicebots. - Build conversational logic with NLP (intent recognition, entity extraction, context handling). - Integrate Amelia with REST, SOAP, XML APIs and webhook frameworks. - Connect voicebot workflows to ITSM (ServiceNow, Jira), authentication services, and enterprise directories. - Deliver scalable solutions supporting customer service operations and internal IT automation. - Participate in architectural discussions to ensure reliability, security, and performance. Required Skills: - Experience with Amelia conversational AI platform (essential). - Voicebot engineering (speech recognition pipeline design, response generation). - NLP fundamentals (intent modeling, entity detection). - Integration with enterprise systems via REST, SOAP, XML, and webhook services. - Integration with ServiceNow, Jira, contact centre technologies, authentication systems, and directories. - Programming in Python, JavaScript, React‑JS, JSON handling. - ITSM or ServiceDesk automation experience. - 7+ years Genesys inbound voice technology in enterprise. - 6–8 years broader IT engineering delivering production systems. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
