Job Description
Job title: AI Development Intern Role Summary An 8–10 week paid internship focused on building AI‑driven features for a fintech platform. The intern will prototype, develop, and iterate on AI workflows using Claude Code and other AI‑native tools, while researching new technologies and improving existing internal processes. Expectations - Complete at least one end‑to‑end AI project (feature or workflow improvement) during the internship. - Generate and prototype novel ideas and present rough versions to the team. - Conduct independent research on emerging AI tools and share findings. - Operate independently, debugging and resolving issues before seeking help. - Align work with business priorities and adhere to project timelines. Key Responsibilities - Design, code, and test AI features using Claude Code, Python, or TypeScript. - Build prototypes of new concepts and document progress. - Evaluate and propose enhancements to existing AI pipelines and deployment workflows. - Review recent research, tooling, and libraries; deliver concise summaries to the engineering group. - Own a specific problem area, identify AI solutions, and lead implementation with minimal guidance. Required Skills - Hands‑on experience with Claude Code (Cursor, Codex, or similar). - Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with Git-based version control. - Ability to self‑resolve obstacles and iterate quickly. - Strong curiosity about AI research, tools, and their practical applications. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Required Education & Certifications - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related STEM field). - Graduation within 2 years (December 2026 – May 2028). - No industry certifications required.
