Job Description
**Job title** Sales Executive **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth by selling all hotel products and services within local and national markets, focusing on corporate, meetings, events, and social banqueting segments. Increase market share and profit margins through new business acquisition, account expansion, and aligned sales & marketing strategies. **Expectations** - Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue budgets. - Deliver a proactive, results‑oriented sales culture across hotel teams. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and partner opportunities. - Collaborate closely with central marketing, digital, and PR teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan that aligns with hotel objectives. - Conduct competitive research to gather market and rate intelligence. - Secure new and repeat business across all market segments, prioritising corporate, event, and banqueting accounts. - Penetrate new accounts and grow market share. - Leverage brand sales initiatives and tools to maximise benefits. - Create account development plans for key accounts. - Capture and manage data within Salesforce and support central marketing systems. - Identify local leisure attractions to build partnerships and joint opportunities. - Plan and implement local marketing campaigns; produce collateral with central marketing. - Execute local social media strategy and maintain online presence across brand.com and third‑party sites. - Capitalise on local PR opportunities. - Foster a sales‑oriented culture within hotel operations. - Represent the hotel at seminars, business events, and local networking functions. **Required Skills** - Proven sales experience in hospitality or related industry. - Strong negotiation, closing, and account‑management abilities. - Excellent oral and written communication. - Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams/Zoom, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram), and digital marketing tools. - Strategic planning, market analysis, and target setting. - Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders. - Results‑driven with a strong sense of accountability. **Required Education & Certifications** - High‑school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related field preferred. - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) are an advantage but not mandatory.
