Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager – Operations Engineering (M/F) Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects as the technical authority, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, scope, and schedule. Act as the bridge between client stakeholders, internal teams, and external providers, while steering the transition from implementation to operational run. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct feasibility studies, solution selection, and budget evaluation for client projects. - Define project scope, develop detailed plans, allocate resources, and build project schedules. - Coordinate with vendors (software publishers, integrators) from contract negotiation to final delivery validation. - Lead project teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain effective collaboration across functional areas. - Organize and facilitate governance meetings (committees, steering groups), prepare minutes, and ensure action items are tracked. - Design and manage dashboards, set KPIs, and report progress to senior management and clients. - Manage crisis cells and risk mitigation plans as needed. - Oversee transition to operations (run‑mode), deliver user support plans, and coordinate end‑user training and change management. - Verify deliverables against specifications, manage quality assurance, and control cost & schedule deviations. - Propose course corrections mid‑project to optimize quality, budget, and timeline. - Contribute to internal development initiatives, including commercial outreach, process optimization, and staff training. - Engage in corporate social responsibility projects and internal community events. Required Skills: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a consultant or project manager in IT operations engineering. - Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize tasks. - Deep understanding of IT systems, life‑cycle management, and integration practices. - Knowledge of life sciences, finance, or insurance domains is advantageous. - Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation capabilities. - Initiative, strong organizational sense, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
