**Job Title:** Information Technology Manager
**Role Summary:**
Seasoned IT leader responsible for overseeing a fully virtualised Windows Server environment, driving cyber‑security initiatives, managing network infrastructure, and delivering infrastructure projects. Leads a team of four technical professionals and collaborates with senior stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of IT management or senior technical leadership experience.
- Proven cyber‑security expertise across multiple sites.
- Strong background in Windows Server and Hyper‑V virtualization.
- Ability to lead, develop, and mentor a small technical team.
- Effective communication with senior business leaders and third‑party suppliers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and develop a team (2 Infrastructure engineers, Business Analyst, Developer).
- Administer and optimise a virtualised Windows Server 2025 and Hyper‑V environment.
- Own cyber‑security strategy, policies, and implementation for all locations and services.
- Maintain and enhance network infrastructure (VLANs, switches, firewalls, routing).
- Plan and execute IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
- Develop, enforce, and audit IT governance, policies, and best practices.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage third‑party vendors and provide occasional end‑user support.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced Windows Server administration (2025).
- Hands‑on Hyper‑V virtualization management.
- Network engineering (VLAN design, routing, switching, firewall configuration).
- Cyber‑security implementation and risk management.
- Proven delivery of infrastructure projects (upgrades, migrations, integrations).
- Leadership, team development, and performance management.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, .NET, and SQL (desirable).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
