Role Summary
Spearhead the product and engineering delivery of a multi‑year Managed Data Management (MDM) platform within a SaaS environment. Own the full lifecycle from vision through operation, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑quality solution architecture, while driving innovation with emerging technologies (AI/ML, distributed ledger, advanced APIs). Lead a cross‑functional team of Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Software Engineers to deliver enterprise‑grade platform services, most often API‑first, with an emphasis on identity & access management and data migration from legacy systems.

- Deliver a clear, future‑oriented product strategy that aligns with enterprise data governance and business goals.
- Manage end‑to‑end product lifecycle, maintaining operational excellence, SLOs/SLAs, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and grow a high‑performing, customer‑obsessed team, fostering accountability and collaboration across functions.
- Own migration planning and execution, guaranteeing data quality, system integrity, and uninterrupted business continuity.
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to align priorities and manage expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define multi‑year roadmap and product vision for MDM, integrating market trends and emerging tech.
- Own ideation, discovery, design, development, release, operations, and deprecation of the platform.
- Ensure platform architecture is scalable, resilient, secure, and performant; champion API‑first design.
- Drive product design and functional specification in partnership with engineering.
- Lead adoption, governance, documentation, training, and support initiatives.
- Design and execute phased data migration strategy from legacy sources to new MDM.
- Set, monitor, and report on key operational metrics (SLOs/SLAs, uptime, data quality).
- Manage incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement processes.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate cross‑functional communication.
Required Skills
- 5+ years SaaS product management and software development experience.
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing product managers and engineering teams.
- Proven success shipping enterprise‑level platform services (preferably API‑first, IAM).
- Strong product intuition with ability to synthesize market, customer, and technical insights.
- Strategic mindset; experience with multi‑year roadmaps that drive measurable business impact.
- Experience managing large‑scale migration projects ensuring data integrity and continuity.
- Excellent collaboration, stakeholder influence, and communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Pragmatic Marketing, SAFe Product Owner) beneficial but not mandatory.
