**Job Title**
Hospitality & Events Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of premium guest programmes at Formula 1 races, translating commercial objectives into seamless, high‑quality experiences. Manage planning, logistics, supplier relationships, budgets, and on‑site execution while serving as the primary partner liaison and line manager for a direct report.
**Expectations**
- Deliver programmes to the highest standard, ensuring accuracy, detail and brand alignment.
- Manage budgets responsibly, complying with financial processes and achieving cost targets.
- Act as a professional ambassador for the brand, upholding health & safety and organisational values.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to guest experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Programme Planning & Delivery**: develop proposals, manage guest journeys, register and communicate with attendees, update itineraries in real time.
- **Travel, Accommodation & Logistics**: source and manage lodging, rooming lists, transport, and schedule coordination.
- **Events, Dining & Activations**: book venues, plan bespoke dinners and events, procure custom gifting, and coordinate creative concepts.
- **Supplier & Budget Management**: negotiate and oversee suppliers, track expenditures, and maintain financial compliance.
- **On‑Site Delivery**: attend races, oversee all on‑site operations, resolve issues swiftly in a high‑pressure environment.
- **Team Management & Collaboration**: line manage one staff member, collaborate with Hospitality & Events, Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience in hospitality, events, guest or travel management.
- Strong planning, organisational and project management abilities.
- Budgeting and financial tracking expertise.
- Supplier negotiation and relationship management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills.
- Leadership capability with a focus on coaching and development.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to fast‑moving schedules.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Hospitality Executive (CHE) preferred.
