Job Description
Job title: CRM & Marketing Automation Manager Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end customer experience from acquisition through retention, leveraging CRM and marketing automation to increase lifetime value, satisfaction, and engagement. Develop and implement data‑driven, personalized communication strategies across lifecycle touchpoints in an e‑commerce and subscription environment. Expactations: * Deliver measurable improvements in NPS, churn reduction, and repeat purchase rates. * Maintain high quality, compliant customer data and segmentation accuracy. * Collaborate cross‑functionally to align marketing campaigns with product, sales, and customer service objectives. * Continuously optimize automation workflows and campaign performance. Key Responsibilities: * Design, launch, and optimize automation workflows (welcome series, re‑engagement, upsell, renewal). * Segment customers by behavior, demographics, and engagement for targeted campaigns. * Build retargeting and upsell strategies to maximize subscription renewals and cross‑sell. * Partner with Customer Service to capture pain points and embed insights into marketing actions. * Plan and execute outbound communications (newsletters, product updates, tailored content). * Track, analyze, and report on key metrics: churn, retention, LTV, NPS, and ROI. * Stay current on CRM, automation, and customer engagement best practices. Required Skills: * 3–5+ years in e‑commerce marketing focused on CRM and retention. * Hands‑on expertise with HubSpot, Zendesk, or Salesforce CRM platforms. * Proven experience building lifecycle automation and customer journey workflows. * Strong knowledge of Shopify and its integration with CRM/automation tools. * Advanced customer segmentation and analytics capabilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication; experience creating email, newsletter, and campaign content. * Customer‑centric mindset with evidence of improving NPS and loyalty. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field. * Certifications in CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk) and marketing automation tools are preferred.
