**Job Title**
Data Analyst – Quality Assurance, EDS Automation (Internship)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and deployment of an automated Engine Data Submittal (EDS) system to replace manual, time‑consuming processes. Transform data collection, comparison, and analysis across multiple enterprise systems into a reliable, efficient, and insightful solution that supports the quality assurance of aircraft engines.

- Produce actionable insights via Power BI dashboards and automated reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Requirements & Process Mapping** – Interview stakeholders, document existing EDS workflows, identify inefficiencies, and define automation goals.
2. **Feasibility & Solution Design** – Assess data availability, API connectivity, data formats, and volume. Propose technical scenarios and select appropriate automation tools.
3. **Development & Integration** – Build Python scripts, API connectors, and/or RPA flows to harvest data from PIM, MTV, IFS/NECD, and other sources.
4. **Quality Controls** – Implement automated data validation, anomaly detection, and alert mechanisms.
5. **Analytics & Visualization** – Create Power BI dashboards, perform trend analysis, correlation studies, and produce automated reports.
6. **User Interface & Adoption** – Prototype intuitive interfaces for end‑users and support knowledge transfer.
**Required Skills**
- Strong programming in Python (or equivalent) for automation and data processing.
- Experience connecting to REST/Web services, handling API authentication, and data extraction.
- Advanced Power BI proficiency: dashboard creation, data modelling, DAX, and performance optimisation.
- SQL knowledge: complex queries, joins, and relational database manipulation.
- Familiarity with RPA tools (Power Automate, UiPath) and ETL concepts is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data trends and drive decision‑making.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current Master’s (Bac+5) student in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Data Science, or equivalent technical/analytical background.
- No mandatory certifications required; relevant training in Power BI, Python, or RPA is advantageous.
