Job Description
**Job title** HR Business Partner **Role Summary** Interim HR Business Partner for a large FMCG organisation, covering a maternity leave. Responsible for providing strategic HR support to a 400‑person business unit, ensuring compliance, employee relations, workforce development, and change management. **Expectations** - 12‑month full‑time fixed‑term contract, on‑site at the business unit. - Deliver timely, high‑quality HR advice and support to managers and employees. - Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the business unit. **Key Responsibilities** - Act as trusted advisor to site‑based stakeholders on employee relations, HR best practice, and policy interpretation. - Partner with line managers on workforce planning, succession planning, and recruitment to meet operational needs and long‑term business objectives. - Review, update, and tailor HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business strategy. - Lead or support projects such as employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programmes, and management coaching. - Own change initiatives, including TUPE transactions, organisational restructures, and cultural integration activities. - Provide monthly reporting on HR metrics and key performance indicators to senior leadership. **Required Skills** - Minimum 3 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent. - Demonstrated experience in blue‑collar, logistics, manufacturing or distribution settings. - Strong employee‑relations skill set with proven problem‑solving capability. - Project management experience, including stakeholder communication and change management. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence at all levels. - Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field. - Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5/6, SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑DS, HRCI PHR/SPHR) preferred.
