**Job Title:** Junior AI Engineer **Role Summary:** Develop, test, and deploy large‑language‑model (LLM) pipelines that extract structured clinical data from unstructured medical charts. Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and clinical teams to integrate AI outputs into production systems, maintain model performance, and uphold responsible AI and compliance standards. **Expectations:** - 1+ year of hands‑on LLM evaluation and deployment experience. - Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, start‑up environment. - Strong cross‑functional communication and teamwork skills. - Commitment to model reliability, data security, and regulatory compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement scalable LLM‑based extraction pipelines for clinical text. - Automate prompt execution, result validation, and error handling. - Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot production AI models to ensure uptime and accuracy. - Integrate AI outputs with existing healthcare data platforms (EHRs, clinical databases). - Evaluate and incorporate third‑party AI solutions when beneficial. - Stay current on LLM serving, model optimization, and responsible AI practices. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python and software engineering best practices. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data pipeline automation. - Knowledge of data engineering concepts and version control (Git). - Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities. - Effective collaboration with technical and clinical stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, **or** equivalent practical experience. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or training in machine learning is a plus.
