**Job Title:**
Artificial Intelligence Consultant – Senior AI Technical Architect (Azure Cognitive Services)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and strategic direction of enterprise‑wide AI solutions for a public‑sector program. Define AI architecture, ensure compliance, and drive multiple proof‑of‑concept initiatives using Azure Cognitive Services, Python, C#, and React.
**Expectations:**
- 8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML solution design and delivery.
- Proven track record shaping end‑to‑end AI capabilities aligned with business strategy.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills for cross‑functional development teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, analysts, and governance bodies to ensure ethical and accessible AI.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and maintain the organization’s AI architecture, ensuring alignment with strategy, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate AI technologies across cloud, on‑prem, hybrid, open‑source, and vendor ecosystems.
- Design and deploy scalable solutions using Azure AI services (Document Intelligence, Speech, Translator, Azure AI Search).
- Lead PoC projects such as multilingual transcription, intelligent document processing, and cognitive search.
- Establish architecture patterns, API contracts, and integration models for enterprise systems.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and governance teams to ensure ethical, accessible, and compliant AI delivery.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise with Azure Cognitive Services and Azure AI pipelines/orchestration.
- Proficient in Python (data workflows, Azure SDKs) and C#/.NET (enterprise integration).
- Experience building front‑end demos/PoCs with React.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and Azure AI Search (keyword, semantic, hybrid).
- Hands‑on experience with OCR, key‑value extraction, document layout analysis.
- Demonstrated delivery of AI solutions for transcription, document intelligence, and multilingual translation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
