**Job Title:** Infrastructure & Security Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, deploy, and secure Azure‑centric infrastructure for a Microsoft‑first, multi‑site organization. Own end‑to‑end cloud security architecture, incident response, and continuous improvement of platform resilience and performance.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build, maintain, and secure Azure infrastructure (compute, networking, identities, governance).
- Lead cloud security architecture: identity, access controls, conditional access, threat detection, and mitigation.
- Serve as senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, and security incidents.
- Plan and execute cloud migration, performance optimisation, and security improvement projects.
- Administer endpoint management (Microsoft Intune, Group Policy) and enforce compliance.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Sentinel, and related tools.
- Manage patching schedules, backup strategies, and disaster‑recovery operations.
**Required Skills:**
- 3+ years of infrastructure and security engineering in enterprise or multi‑site environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure (networking, governance, RBAC, security controls).
- Deep experience with Microsoft 365 security, Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, and endpoint protection.
- Scripting and automation fluency (PowerShell, Bash).
- Understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, and business continuity.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Willingness to support occasional out‑of‑hours incidents.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Azure‑specific certifications (e.g., AZ‑300/304, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft 365 Security Administration) preferred.
